The Houston Tidelanders will be performing and hosting a booth at the 10th annual Heights Kids Day of Music.
The Heights Kids’ Day of Music is a music festival all about inspiring kids to have a lifelong love of and engagement with music and the arts. 100% Local. 100% Fun. The rain date is March 24, 2024.
The Tidelanders chorus will perform in the morning on one of the performance stages. Our set will feature some of our “kid-friendly” songs, such as from Disney movies. We also will host a booth all day, and offer kids (and parents) a chance to sing melody and harmony together.
Come join a fun day and share the Tidelanders vision of “Harmony Across Houston!”

The Tidelanders are a chorus that performs show tunes, hits, love songs, and Christmas favorites
We have sung patriotic songs to open up the last few Heroes At Home Golf Tournament supporting the Green Beret Foundation and the U.S. Army Special Forces families. We opened up the 5th year of this event on October 17th, 2022.
For several years we have presented a concert for the benefit of Fort Bend Family Promise. Tickets for our Fort Bend Family Promise Concert on May 13 are available for purchase.
We perform a variety of our full repertoire that includes show tunes, patriotic, recent hits, love songs, and more. Our afternoon shows include popcorn and sodas and our evening shows include chips and salsa, tamales, sodas, and beer!
We are planning our Clear Lake GTS for April 22, 2023 with a Saturday Matinee (ticket purchase) and a Saturday Evening show (ticket purchase).
We produce and perform in annual Christmas shows. For 2022, we had one Christmas show open to the public: St. Matthew 2022. We performed and sang with the Needville H.S. Choir on December 8th, 2022.
We have won our District Championship 19 times and placed in the top 10 in International Competition 9 times.
The Tidelanders support music programs throughout the Greater Houston Area. In 2022, we supported the young men of FBISD at two events: Fort Bend Men’s Festival on November 9th at Elkins High School and Fort Bend Men’s Festival on November 17 at Austin High School.
We also sponsor a High School A Cappella Tag Singing Contest.
