Inspiring Today’s Youth

Please note: this event is not open to the public unless you are part of the Fort Bend ISD music program.

This is a Youth Outreach project for the Tidelanders. We will be singing with 275 young men during the Central Zone Men’s Fest to demonstrate that men can and do continue to sing as adults.

The festival will be held over three nights in different locations across the District, and all community members are invited to attend. About Us

The Tidelanders are an all male chorus that performs show tunes, hits, love songs, and Christmas favorites.

Community Fund Raisers

We have sung patriotic songs to open up at several of the Heroes At Home Golf Tournaments supporting the Green Beret Foundation and the U.S. Army Special Forces families. We opened up the 6th year of this event on October 16th, 2023.

Christmas Shows

We produce and perform in annual Christmas shows. For 2023, we have two Christmas shows scheduled to be open to the public: Fishers of Men Lutheran Church on December 2 and Windwood Presbyterian Church on December 16. We will participate in the Needville H.S. Choir Performance on December 11. This event is open to residents in the Needville area.

District Competitions

We have won our District Championship 19 times and placed in the top 10 in International Competition 9 times. We are proud to carry the Houston name across the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Good Times Shows

We perform a variety of our full repertoire that includes show tunes, patriotic, recent hits, love songs, and more. Our evening shows include food and drinks! We are planning a Clear Lake GTS for April 13, 2024, with a Saturday Matinee and a Saturday evening show.

Next Generation

We support the musical arts in the Houston area. In 2023, we are scheduled to participate in three events: Dulles H.S. on November 7, Ridge Point H.S. on November 8, and Stephen F. Austin H.S. on November 16.  We present an annual High School Barbershop (a cappella) Quartet Tag Contest. In 2024 that contest is open to the 9 counties of the Houston area.

Singing Valentines

This February, don’t forget to play cupid yourself and hire the Tidelanders to sing love songs to your loved one for you.
