Barbershop is back!
Celebrate the return of in-person barbershop harmony music making at the Midwinter Convention in Pasadena, California.
The Midwinter Convention is packed full of events including educational classes, shows, get togethers, festival singing opportunities and the International Seniors Quartet Championship.
The events for Midwinter take place at either the Pasadena Convention Center or the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. There are three hotels recommended that are located nearby. The event is $159 for BHS members and $179 for non-members.
The Barbershop Harmony Society is offering a safe, accessible event, with full Covid-19 safety protocols that are required for all attendees.
The Tidelanders are an all male chorus that perform show tunes, hits, love songs, and Christmas favorites.
We have opened up the last few Heroes At Home Golf Tournaments.
December 2021 we are hosting two public events (JWUMC and at St. Matthew’s).
We have won our District Championship 19 times and placed in the top 10 in International Competition 9 times.
We perform selected show tunes, patriotic, recent hits, love songs, and more at our GTS performances. Evening shows include food and drinks! Join us in 2022 at our Saturday Matinee or Saturday Evening shows.
We support the musical arts, especially where singing is concerned. In 2021, we participated in the Fort Bend ISD Men’s Festival.
This February don’t forget to play cupid yourself and hire the Tidelanders to sing love songs to your loved one for you.
