The tidelanders
Tide Pool
The Houston Tidelanders sometimes open additional performance opportunities to a wider range of organizations and companies. From time to time, we bring our high standards to a subset of Chorus members interested in dedicating time to the execution of a high caliber group called the Tide Pool. When active, the Tide Pool consists of and promotes 4 part harmony singing consisting of the Tenor, Lead, Baritone, and Bass vocal parts.
Current Status
The Tide Pool is currently not active.
Members of Distinction
The Tide Pool will consist of volunteers that love music and want additional opportunities to practice and perform. Usually under the direction of an Assistant Director, the Tide Pool has their own practice and rehearsal sessions outside of that of the Chorus. The Tide Pool maintains the same high degree of music and performance standards of our Chorus. Currently, the Tide Pool is inactive.
Music Selections
The streams will never cross meaning that the Tidelanders Chorus and the Tide Pool will not perform the same songs. The Tide Pool makes music selections that the Chorus isn’t going to perform. In some cases there may be music we want to “test” or add additional time to our performances.
