Tidelanders Men’s Guest Night (2022)

The Houston Tidelanders Men’s Guest night is planned for September 12th, 2022!
We are a well-established Men’s a cappella chorus located in the Bellaire area of Houston. We will be hosting a Tidelanders Men’s Guest Night to help men interested in singing learn some new songs.
We’re inviting men that are currently singing or that are interested in learning how to sing. We are offering an opportunity for you to be taught short songs called Polecats, extremely short parts from the end of songs called “tags”, as well as a full song.
First, you’ll get to hear how you sound with other men. Secondly, we’ll help you with your own pitches, explain what’s happening with the other parts, and more. Last, you’ll have the opportunity to meet other guys that have the same interest in music. Snacks will be provided.

- NORTH parking lot (next to the West Wing at the corner of S. Rice Ave. and Bellaire Blvd.),

- North side of Linden St. between the entrance to and exit from the SOUTH parking lot

About Us
The Tidelanders are an all male chorus that performs show tunes, hits, love songs, pop, and Christmas favorites.
Community Fund Raisers
We have opened up the last few Heroes At Home Golf Tournaments. We also help raise funds for Fort Bend Family Promise.
Christmas Shows
In December 2021 we hosted two shows that were open to the public at JWUMC and St. Matthew’s.
District Competitions
We have won our District Championship 19 times and placed in the top 10 in International Competition 9 times.
Good Times Shows
We perform selected show tunes, patriotic, recent hits, love songs, and more at our performances. The Good Time Show includes food and drinks! We produced three shows in May and June 2022 including a Saturday Matinee and Saturday Evening show.
Next Generation Barbershop
We support the musical arts, especially where singing is concerned. In 2021, we participated in the Fort Bend ISD Men’s Festival.
Singing Valentines
Next February don’t forget to play cupid yourself and hire the Tidelanders to sing love songs to your loved one for you.
